چکیده
Nanoparticles (NPs) that combine biocompatibility and enhanced physical characteristics for biomedical applications are currently an area of intense scientific research. Hafnium oxide NPs innovative approach in the anticancer treatment by radiotherapy due to their low toxicity enhancement local dose tumor reducing total radiation patient. The combination this property with excellent magnetic hyperthermia performance Fe3O4 can produce a promising nanomaterial cancer therapy. In work, we attempted synthesize nanoscale samples HfO2 doped nominal 10 at.% Fe, Hf at level using simple chemical routes. crystal structure was characterized X-ray diffraction. material irradiated neutrons research reactor, nuclear reaction 180Hf(n, γ)181Hf yielding probe nucleus 181Hf(181Ta) used perturbed angular correlations experiments measure hyperfine interactions. Despite immediate response external field, both showed only electric quadrupole interaction typical monoclinic hafnia indicating Fe replaces NPs, but, rather than substituting enters magnetite form clusters. Transmission Electron Microscopy exploited study morphology these complex systems, as well localize clusters understand nature coupling specks.
